How it works

We're not a lender, funder or broker. We connect you with funders. Here's what happens to your request, and how we're paid.

1. You tell us about the business

The application asks how much you need, what it's for, how long you've been operating, your approximate monthly deposits, your industry and state, and how to reach you. It doesn't ask for your Social Security number, bank login or tax ID.

2. We sell or share your request

We sell or share your details with business funders, brokers and other companies that buy funding leads. Companies listed on our Partners page when you submit may call or text you. The consent box on the form says this, and nothing is sent unless you check it.

3. Funders contact you

Expect a call, text or email, usually within one business day. The provider will typically ask for recent business bank statements and run its own review, which may include a credit check. Ask them how they check credit before you agree to it.

4. You compare and decide

Ask every provider for three numbers in writing: total payback, the cash you'll actually receive after fees, and the estimated APR. Plug any offer into our true-cost calculator to check it. You're never obligated to accept anything.

We're paid by the funders and lead buyers who receive your request, not by you. That's a real incentive, and you should know about it. We handle it by publishing guides that tell you when a product is a bad fit, whoever sells it.

Stopping contact

Reply STOP to any text message, or ask any caller to put you on their do-not-call list. To have us stop sharing your information or delete it, see the choices in our privacy policy.

What would your offer really cost?

Two minutes to request options. Every offer shown in plain numbers, including its true APR.
